I just wanted to congratulate the Cane basketball team. For 20 minutes, the entire first half of their first Elite 8 appearance, they outplayed the best team in the country. Clutch plays came fast and furious. Lead changes. A late surge to end the half with a six point lead. It was magic. So much fun to watch.
Thanks for that memory and all those great games this year. Eventually the magic had to end - we didn’t have the depth to keep up that sky high intensity. But for 20 minutes we were the best team in the country.
