The U currently does not have a Def Coord (anyone who says Manny is one should become a lacrosse fan and go away) and we don't have an Off Coord. What's going to happen next year if Manny comes back is that TVD goes pro or enters the portal, Garcia probably goes portal and all those freshmen Def starters go portal. We will have wasted an entire year and gone farther down the irrelevant hole. The odds of ALL of this occurring If Manny is retained, are probably 2 or 3-1. The money is lining up IF we get a great AD and a great Coach. That money will go elsewhere if Manny stays. And next year the buyout prices and new annual salaries will increase dramatically. So the mature question is WHY WHY. WHY.?
