As a person of faith heavily involved in my Christian church, I can only tell you that a person who wants to serve the Lord will always follow what he feels the Lord is leading him/her to do regardless of what one would like to do. Marc's work at Georgia has definitely set him up for any type of ministry he would want to do in the future, but the U is a very different brand than Georgia that is followed by a very different crowd. My point is that Marc could easily see it as a great opportunity to reach out to a very different type of crowd that he has been able to connect with and might just further his ministry more than just falling into the background now in Georgia. I don't know the man but people of faith do't think or get energized by things that other people do, and coming back to rebuild the U might be his crowning achievement in sports that takes him ministry to the next level.

Just a thought.....
