Mario was being interviewed on an internet sports show and he said "our offense is going to be balanced 50:50 run / pass". So given UM's roster and the QB depth it would make sense that he will be using the pass to set up the run. 2021 UM was pretty balanced with 53% pass and 47% run .. with the run game NOT being very effective due to OL limitations. Expect Mario to hit the PORTAL hard mining a few OL and perhaps another WR. Going something close to 50/50 on the play calling it would not be unreasonable to get close to 4000 passing yards and 2500 rush yards in 2022. Lead the ACC in offense and scoring .. with the "Steele Curtain" keeping opponents to under 21 points. Big hire is the QB coach and LB coach and DB. Ponce for QB .. and big names for the LB and DB .. UM ends up with an elite staff top to bottom.
