The shallowness of the sports news media and most analysts is everywhere. The vaunted Miami Hurricanes of yesteryear "have been mediocre" in recent years, etc., etc. No one thinks much of the talent, drive and rebuilding of the U in the past year due to the loss of 7 players to the NFL. This is the perfect storm. With a chip or log on our collective shoulders we can go into our games, especially after the first two, and play smash mouth football and prove to one and all the the U is not washed up but rather re-building, re-loading and mean business!
