Wake up people!!! Get out of your mediocrity-induced coma sleep. Yes, I think TVD ( and potentially Garcia) could be the best QB we have had in a long time.
However, the standard is NOT:
1) Beat Pitt or NC State (insert other above average 20-25 ranked team) by a FG a couple times a year
2) Get beat down by every top10 team we play
3) Be non-competitive and hope to lose by <21 to any top10 team
4) Suffer unimaginable losses to far less talented teams consistently
5) Play average players over far more talented younger players because our coaches can't figure out who has more talent
6) Under-develop and supply the transfer portal with multiple 5* players because we can't develop them
7) Lose top tier local talent in recruiting because they KNOW they will have NO opportunity to play for a championship or be NFL-caliber players here
8) Hope our defense can give up less than 30points and 500 yards a game to have an opportunity to win
The standard should ALWAYS be:
Losing is unacceptable.
Losing should hurt fans, coaches, and players
We should WANT to play the best because we KNOW we can compete and expect to WIN
A NC should be the GOAL every year, not even the ACC let alone the "Coastal"
We will never accomplish these goals with Manny Diaz as the head coach. This is a given, no matter what our record is this year. Not firing him this year, will just be another year of waste, unmet expectations, waste of money, loss of recruits. Wake up. No one with a pulse believes we will ever go to the playoffs with this clown.
