You guys are all forgetting this main point.. Mario is pretty much still entrenched in the South Florida Community.. He's Well known.. Family.. etc..
Yes.. He currently resides in Eugene Oregon.. Yes.. He currently is making a Playoff Run.. But... If you have a Coveted Position opening at at a place that you consider your dream job.. the reason you got into coaching in the first place.. Given the right circumstances and the correct Demands being Met by the Powers that be at THE U.. I don't see Mario turning down his Alma Mater if everything falls into place..
I'm willing to bet that THE U has always been a Final Destination spot for this guy no matter the current circumstances.. For all you guys on this board asking "WHY WOULD HE COME HERE"... Its Home.. And he was part of the True Hurricane Teams that ruled College Ball... I don't think he walks away from that..
It would actually shock me if he did.. all things being EQUAL and the Proper offer Made... I think Mario comes home
