Was watching part of the game again and almost forgot about this. On the very last drive, after the second pass interference they were called for, we hit Harley on the crossing route for a first down to get to the 25. Then he tries to lob it to Mallory on first down on the next play but it's batted away(actually thought Shawn Davis hit Mallory a little early and could've been called, Mallory was looking for a flag). Then on second down, Jarren steps up into the pocket nicely to extend the play and had Osborn running an in-breaking route at about 5 yards wide open but Jarren was focused deep and ended up getting sacked and fumbled. If he drops that ball off to Osborn, he clearly has enough space to pick up the first down around the 15 yard line. We'd then have 1st and 10 at the 15 with about 20 seconds left with one timeout remaining, would've been in great shape there.
Also, on the attempted pass to Jordan in the endzone on the next play(where the flag was thrown then picked up), Harley was one on one with Trey Dean on a post route in the middle of the field. Think Harley would have had a great chance to make a play there if Jarren decides to go that direction.
These are just two of probably 25 what-ifs for us in that game I know, but just saying. But the missed short throw to Osborn really stood out to me. He ran the in route right in front of Jarren. If we complete that and get a 1st down at the 15, then have 20 seconds to get into the endzone from there, gotta like our chances to pull that off in my opinion. But, oh freaking well...
