I loved the front page article on AQM. Not so much the rah-rah "Our D-Line is going to be special" stuff, we have heard that countless times from countless position groups before.
What I appreciated most was not only his admission that he made a mistake, his attitude was the wrong attitude to have when he came in, and he has fixed it. And I really get a sense it's not just repeat-what-the-coaches-say rhetoric. His quote on Redwine;
"The kid (Sheldrick) Redwine. He's a corner, works really hard, is real impressive to me. He's quiet and do what he has to do and does it 100 miles per hour. If he doesn't understand something he asks questions and does a good job taking coaching. And his work ethic is unbelievable. He stands out a lot."
You can tell by the qualities he is admiring in Redwine that his attitude is where it needs to be. It also really excites me about Sheldrick. I am really rooting for this kid - who was an obvious backup plan to everyone - to have a good career at Miami.
