Objectively, we had so much more talent on offense last year than currently, it makes me question the randomness of Football even further, and whether you can win consistently in today's college game with an immobile QB.

Last year, at RB: we had a healthy Walton, Yearby, Gus and Homer.
WR: Healthy Ahmon, Coley
TE: Njoku and Herndon.

The talent of this offensive roster crushes what we are putting out on the field Sat night. Only difference, Rosier (as inconsistent and maddening as he is) brings a RPO mobility element that somehow overcomes the immobility of Kaaya. Coach Richt understands (see transfer of Allison, and recruitment of Perry, Weldon, Williams) that you can't win in today's game without a mobile QB.

Saban realized he could not defend Manziel, so he started recruiting mobile QB's, while Harbaugh is now seeing at Michigan, that the big immobile QB's (unless you stumble on an Andrew Luck) can't consistently win. The defenses are just too quick, to allow a 5 or 7 step passing game to be sustainable.
