1. Playing Garvin at Viper. The Viper position is not a pure pass rush spot but is also asked to cover the bubble screen at times and spy the QB at others. Garvin excelled at LE last season, they should have left him there and played Rousseau at Viper whom seems tailor made for it. Patchen is the starter at LE and not getting done.
2. Not sure if overplaying comeback or short routes was a feature of the defense before but the DB's are getting roasted on stop and goes. So either the opposition has figured that out or it's anew feature that needs to be corrected.
3. As Philly has pointed out, can't believe that Zion and Clark are so much better than older players on the roster and that Scaife would be worse than Zion at LT. (makes me think Diaz is thinking toward next season)
4. Donaldson was a freshman all-american at RG but since then has played only a handful of games there. Maybe the line would be more settled if he moved back.
5. Enos calling too many pull and trap run plays with such an inexperienced o-line. Not one that I've seen has succeeded.
6. The biggest one - Not realizing that the best option for the offense was to drill down the read option and RPO game (similar to what Cutcliff does) with Martell as the QB. (another reason I believe they are looking toward next season)
7. Looking toward next season!
