FUKING DUMB x 1000. Huge short sided mistake and a swindle job by Deion. This kid was the number 1 recruit in America. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with HBCU before some of the board social warriors attack. THAT IS NOT THE POINT OF THIS POST. The kid went to JSU which compared to any P-5 elite school is an inferior FCS level program with inferior competition, facilities, S&C staff and academic resources. God forbid the kid get injured! Who is gonna treat him? Some trainer training to work his way up to a better job???? Kid will be riding buses to alot of his games and playing in front of 15-30k crowds (if he is lucky). How can a parent allow their son to make such a decision?????????? How can an adult like Sanders have such little ethics? Sanders is doing this for himself. He will be gone in a year. The kid got sold on some shady ass short term NIL money. Kid can easily get NIL deals if he balls at any elite level P-5 school! He also got sold on the faulty assumption that because Sanders is a HOF corner he is better than multiple P-5 HOF coaches. Stupid and Reckless. This kid's parents or guardians should be fuking ashamed of themselves. Sanders is officially a SCUMBAG self promoting vulture that bought and sold a kid's future for his own gain. Sanders himself would have NEVER picked a school like JSU over FSU! NEVER. He is shameless and this is a glaring example of how NIL deals will hurt kids if not monitored. At least the NFL has a union, agents and collective bargaining rules. Who is looking out for these kids when these NIL companies renege, fold or go out of business? Flash a shiny object in front of an 18 year old and take advantage of his financial needs and gullibility. SHAMELESS and DISGUSTING.
