I didn't mention them because I believe the Main reason for the 55% pessimism rate is the rise of Covid cases. The border crisis, crime and inflation are not new problems. Soaring Covid cases are!

This would make sense if the numbers were above 50%. Even though these states have higher than average black populations, they are are still vastly outnumbered by whites.
As of last month,
- Whites comprise 56% of the unvaccinated
- 49% of them are Republicans, 29% Dem (and the rest with no affiliation).
- Of the 56% nearly half have High School or less than HS educations,
- 76% are over the age of 65 with health insurance,
- Most earn 40k a year or less
So in summary, these are the same low information voters Trump and the Demagogues at Fox (Hannity, Carlson etc) prey on. The median age of a Fox News viewer is 68.
It doesn't take a genius to see what the problem is here.

you just turned your argument around. If the majority of the population is white yet their only 56% of unvaccinated seems like rednecks must be getting vaccinated at a higher rate than minorities.
Fauci and Biden are running the show. Their policies would be responsible for current results.
