National polls mean nothing, it is very likely that Biden will win the popular national vote and lose the electoral college. Opposition to Trump in the West coast and NE has grown over the last 4 years.
Biden is getting smoked in the battle grounds and trails Hillaries polling from 2016.
Also an Emerson poll in national today has Biden +2 and his RCP avg is down to 6 pts. Even worse in Battleground at 2.7. Trumps base is fired up and will turnout, Biden will be lucky if his supporters can shuffle to the mailbox over the next 2 months. Nate silver was not even born in 1976, let alone running presidential polls. May want to check your sources a little more thoroughly
538 was started in 2008. Its founder, Nate Silver, was already a known polling prognosticator before it was formed. The rest of the polls before that date can be polling averages from RCP and other sites. Bottom line - Biden is ahead by more right now than anyone in a quarter century.
Was he a known prognosticator in 1976 before he was born or in the nineties when he was in high school your post has polls he was apparently running before he was even conceived.
