I have posted before how Cane RBs, led by Gore, Edge, OJ Anderson, Portis, McGahee, Foreman and others, have collectively amassed more than 84,000 yards rushing in the NFL over the years, tops that I know of for any school.
Also that I know of, right now playing in the league we have one certain HOFer (Gore) and five other former Cane RBs: Lamar Miller (injured for the season) and Duke Johnson at Houston, Gus Edwards at Baltimore, Mark Walton with the Dolphins, and Travis Homer at Seattle.
I know none of them is All-Pro caliber, but just sticking on a NFL 53-man active roster is an achievement to be congratulated. And soon they will be joined by 3 (maybe more) additional RBs from the U; the current set of Cane RBs seems to me to be the most capable we've had as a group since those amazing teams of 2000-2002.
