As mentioned previously, he's doing a great job with fund raising and in his managing of a couple other sports programs at the U. But I think the easy solution would be to remove him from ALL THINGS FOOTBALL. Hire an "Alonzo Highsmith" type individual who will assume all duties related to the management and operations of the football program, from coaching hires to football facilities.

He would also answer to the President or the BOT, NOT Blake......cut Blake's salary by a third to help pay for the new position but give him a way to make it up through bonuses for fund raising totals, add to it a few donor dollars to pay the new position salary, and there you have it!!! Everybody's happy, Blake's got less responsibility and pressure on him, the new position all but guarantees football success, and the U gets back to the business of winning Nattys.
