Just doing some guess work on what would go on in most people's mind if in his position.
A) Staying on at UGA: why would he do this? He is told that he is not good enough to still be there coach but we want you to stay on to be a figure head that can raise money for the program. Seems like a slap in the face to me.
B) Coaching the bowl game: This tells me that there is very little chance he coaches again. No point in coaching bowl game and losing 3-4 weeks of recruiting time to coach UGA for one last game.
I don't think he comes here... I wouldn't be against it but none of this adds up to me. I think he ends up just retiring. To me, if he takes the job with UGA, he's admitting failure and just really loves Athens.
