Today’s front page has a staff projection of our offensive depth chart for this coming season. In general, I agree with the projections. Our starters at WR are perhaps the most difficult to accurately predict. But, the staff picks make sense.

However, I have one big difference of opinion on the projections….at TE. Staff predicts that Jaleel Skinner will be our second team guy behind Mallory and ahead of Arroyo. What? I can definitely see Skinner getting some burn as a big WR in red zone situations. His size and catch radius are amazing. But, I’m predicting that Arroyo will emerge big time at TE and perhaps overtake Mallory in production. Why?

Arroyo has already added the size and strength he needed to gain post high school. Plus, he is already a better blocker than Mallory. Lastly, he is smooth athlete able and ready to become a major playmaker for us.

I’m voting for Elijah Arroyo as a breakout star in 2022!
