Frankly the comments by Manny about Williams being "our guy" are insulting to Perry and any player on this team whose reps have been cut due to better play in games by their teammates.
We see how useless practice evaluations are from the play of this team the first 4 games. Once Manny actually substituted better performers for more reps the team improved. Rousseau comes to mind.
But at QB Perry is treated as a second class citizen relegated by preseason practices even though he has wholly outperformed his counterpart in games.. This type of coddling will submarine this team if it continues

Jimmy would tell his players they had a renewable one year scholarship and if they didnt perform they were out of here. If Perry plays well and wins again putting in a weak armed Williams too soon will ruin him and destroy team morale. If Williams is "The GUY" put him in when he is healthy in mop up minutes or if Perry slips up. See how he looks.
Williams played extremely poorly against CMU and VT so badly that he need to sit.I found it funny how Manny covered for him as if the injury was the only reason.If he was that injured before VT why the hell was he playing?Are the coaches doing any personnel evaluations?
