Oregon has a serious leadership and culture problem within its athletics dept. It is clear that they had no clue that there was a growing threat to take their coach. It was building for weeks. We've had on this site alone gary and many individual posters saying confidently for many weeks that this was a real thing and its been all over twitter for a while. A they first put an offer to him hours before kicking off the pac 12 title game and weeks into this thing heating up. And from their local media/sites they didnt cover anything until very recently and when they did they claimed everyone in the building had supreme confidence that we are just a bit loony as a fanbase/program and there is no chance in hell that mario is actually leaving.
What I saw every day when looking in on whats happening there was an organization infected with a toxic culture that believes so much in its own greatness it can't see a threat staring it right in the face. And ill add this...I wasnt paying attention during the taggart time, but it sounds like they got inexplicably blindsided on him too. If I were over there and had any authority I'd be ordering a complete top to bottom assessment and looking for what heads need to roll.
PS- gtfoh you idiotic cocky pieces of s**** I hope we rip your entire coaching staff and recruiting class into pieces.
