i don’t know why I’m writing this but I will.
I love my Canes! I’ve been going to games since maybe 2001 with season tickets. I would go with my son. I’ve also been to all of the games this year home and away. Problem is my son was in drug rehab. Now 23 he has struggled for years. I’ll never understand it. Today I picked him up in Orlando from his latest rehab and dropped him off at the half way around 1. I got the response I’ve grown accustomed to. Dad don’t worry I’ll be good this time. At around 5 my wife went to the half way to drop off bedding. She found him blue slouched over in the bathroom. They had to administer Narcam to revive him. He’s in the hospital now. My wife and I are grieving like we have been for 7 plus years.
I hope this will bring some perspective to this board. I love my canes since I moved here from New Jersey in 1979, the Larry Brodsky Jim Kelly era. I hope we can all get behind the team and coaches and allow this program to grow back into the dynasty it was. I look to this board for enjoyment to escape my misery. Thanks for listening.
