I hate to put too much into just a picture from the first day of practice, but one dude really jumped out at me based on those pictures.
Malcolm Lewis looks like a different dude than the guy we have seen the last few years.
Before he nearly had his foot ripped off in that GT game I thought he looked like a really explosive guy with a big future. Since the injury he bulked up considerably and his game changed completely. Gone was the explosive slot guy from his freshman year and in his place was a dude with junk in the trunk that became a designated blocker as a reciever.
If this leaner Malcolm looks more like freshman Malcolm he could be a huge bonus for this offense.
I hope like hell he is back. He has been a favorite of mine based on the adversity he faced and the courage and hard work he put in to get back. Good luck Malcolm, The Hurricanes family has your back.
