8. Biggest game of the year vs UNC. We win the game and biggest victory since ND at home in 2017 5-1
9. Negative Nancy’s disappear for a few weeks

11 We beat Pitt 7-1
12. We beat Georgia Tech 8-1
13. We go to FSU for rivalry game and lose a tight one 28-27 (We are up 27-21 and they score a TD with 30 sec to go to go up 28-27) 8-2
14. Welcome back Negstive Nancy’s!!! Call for planes with banners to fire an 8-2 Manny Diaz start up. The hire Mario and make Alonzo the power GM in football starts up even though Mario has same record as Manny currently. The hire Urban Meyer in 2022 starts up. The hire Ed Reed as DC, Ray Lewis as LB coach and Joaquin Gonzalez as OL coach begins

17. going 7-1 in ACC gets us Coastal Champions and we play in ACC Championship vs Clemson
18. We lose to Clemson 38-27. A loss but not a blow out 10-3 (corrected as I was called out for failing basic math)
19. Go to mid major Bowl game just like 2020 vs an opponent of same caliber as Okie State but this time we win a close one 35-31.
20. End season 11-3
Pumpers are satisfied because it’s another step up from 6-7 then 8-3 to 11-3 with big win vs UNC and bowl game
negative Nancy’s are still upset and call for firing of Manny Diaz and say he got lucky vs UNC and not good enough vs Bama and Clemson and season was a waste because we had 3 losses (1 to rival FSU) and it was playoffs or bust for them.
so woukd you say 9-3 with win vs UNC, making ACC championship game and a bowl win but blow out loss to Bama, tight loss to FSU in rivalry game and losing once again to Clemson in ACC Championship game is considered a successful season or a failure ????
