We have all put in so many hours, making hundreds of threads about UM Football..
Discussing everything that needs to happen for Miami to get consistently better, and show signs of growth... trying to get back to national prominence.
The sinking feeling in my gut, (and I'm sure all of you as well) really is watching from a Macro viewpoint ..how futile this looks from top to bottom, and it's fleshing out more and more glaringly every week.
A million great idea's about the depth chart, play calling, recruiting.. doesn't change anything with our program.. it's shuffling chess pieces around the board, in desperation. Going nowhere.
They've left us with perhaps, the worst AD in the country, a terrible coaching staff, and talent, equal to mid tier ACC teams ( UNC, Wake , VA etc..)
I think the evidence, from Shalala's tenure to Frenk's, overwhelmingly suggests that the effort & commitment to the Miami Hurricanes football program has failed egregiously.
From the President & Board of Trustees, their hiring of Blake James, and his total ineptitude..
Until President Frenk, the BOT, and the big money donors invest in wholesale changes to make UM football a 'real' priority... Canes football will continue to look small and irrelevant on the national stage.
