Gary's op ed today was geared towards showing Golden's ability to use mantras and themes to generate harmonious group think. It does seem this season before anyone has played a game that this team is saying all the right things regarding proper team mentality.
But lost in all this is the Elephant in the room. The ability to properly scheme and adjust during games and teach proper fundamentals to these athletes. Its clear that Golden seems to have properly increased the physical strength of his team and that the players seem like they are putting out great effort. This team will however be successful based on its talent level and the ability for the coaches to put these athletes on the field in the right place and the right time.
Thats what needs to change. All the other stuff feels good but a porsche without a map looks good while you are driving it but you will usually end up lost
