I ask this because my answer is no. Do I believe that he will get us a 9 win season if all the stars in the universe are aligned.. my answer is yes. I personally don't think that is good enough for a school of Miami's caliber. UM is literally on top of richest most talented football recruiting grounds in the world. If we had even a competent coaching staff we would compete for national championships year in and year out. We've won 5.. were cheated out of having a chance to play for one in 2000... and were cheated outright for the other in 2002. How many others have we left on the field? My point is I think most Golden supporters would celebrate a 9 win season as a success, but do you'll actually believe that Al can coach a national championship team? If you cannot honestly say yes... then what's the point of cheering for 9 wins? Nebraska fired Bo Pelini because he couldn't win the big game. Why are Nebraska's standards higher than ours? Al will never beat a team with equal or better talent.. he haven't so far in his 8-9yr of being a Head Coach.. so what makes you so confident that he will now?
