Why haven't there been a "GROUP" of former players created to be extended hand of the BOT working hand-in-hand with the Athletic Director.
This group may consist of 5-10 members who would be solely responsible for the inner workings of the Football Program ie Head Coaching Hires, improvement of facilities so on and so on.
I think this would be beneficial to the program in so many ways, if there is money to be raised these guys (Lewis, Reed, Vilma, Wilford, however else you want to throw on that list) can travel the country and raise that money.
If its coaching decisions needed to be made, who better to do the research, do the interviews and make the decision.?
