Well the 1 time I lost I got knocked out cold and my brother had to pick me up. No judges involved. Dude looked like Larry The Cable Guy but MUCH bigger.
LOL. I can't even fight when I am sober! Holmes taught me some stuff when I worked his camp in 1985 for the Spinks fight. He didn't have to. He just did. I wish I would have followed up on it. Not that I could be a world champion, but to be in condition. These guys run 10 miles each day. It's NUTS.
This works sometimes. Sciota County Fair Ohio year unknown. I was running my mouth to a group of guys older and bigger than us. They were gonna beat the hell outta me and I was wishing I had chilled some. Buddy comes up sees it is real close to going down, gets on his knees and bashes his head on the concrete, looks at them with blood coming down his forhead and eyes as big as a gator..........LETS GO ****ERS..........They left, afraid how far he would go after that episode. He saved my ass.
