Everybody but UM has so far confirmed that C. Strong is a done deal as LB Coach on Mario's staff so that leaves TWO slots for confirmation:
-TE coach ... have seen speculation recently that "after reviewing options" Field may be retained as TE coach. So that would leave only
one position open.
-DE Coach. Any smoke seen by anyone? Some some comments 7-10 days ago regarding Garner from TN but wasn't really smoke ... more of a puff.
Any speculation by anybody that has "contacts"?
Garner is reportedly a monster recruiter in addition to being a top defensive end coach ... would be a tremendous addition to an already top ranked staff.
Having elite position coaches at virtually every position TO DEVELOP PLAYERS ... would be huge both in on field performance and in recruiting. Who doesn't want the
best for their kids?
