Our offense is as much of a concern as the defense. I know we have defensive issues but I really believe the talent we have had on offense the past few years has hidden Coley's inability to call a game. Combine that with the fact that the defense has been so horrible has allowed Coley to fly under the radar. I truly believe if we had an average defense the past few years people would be calling for Coley's head. The play calling in the bowl game was inexcusable. We brought that game back to a 3 point game at the end of the 3rd, had the ball several times and continued to just run, run, run, into a brick wall. We ran twice on 3rd and 6 or more. It was unreal. Our offense had a top 5 RB, top 5 OL, top 5 TE, top 5 WR, and the best qb in the ACC statistically. We should have put 40 or more up several times this past year and didn't. Sorry rant over I know this has been discussed.
