They need to play 60 minutes of football. Too many players are taking their foot off the gas, or picking their spots to make an effort. It's the same thing that plagued Butch his first few years. Consistency in effort and focus absolutely determines your record, and these players simply don't have it yet.
Now, does Manny have great recruiters and talent developers on staff as Butch did? I have no idea, but I do know that when they are locked in they look pretty damn good. If they could do for 4 quarters what they do in spurts they would be 5-0.
I don't believe talent is our issue, nor do I think coaching is a complete disaster. The problem is CONSISTENT intensity and execution. That won't happen until enough players actually give a shit about winning and losing.
