It wasn't pretty...but we got the W and it sure beats the heck out of what happened in Game 1.
Canes evens to series and goes to 6-1 while Harvard suffers their first loss of the year. and fall to 1-1..
Final Line score:
Can't crow about our hitting at the plate...only 6 hits but we left the bases loaded 3x and couldn't get one runner home...hence, 10 runners LOB...that can't continue...
The story of the game...was out starter who had a career-high 9 strikeouts...
PITCHING
WP: Carson Palmquist (2--0), IP 5.1, H 4, R 1, ER 1, BB 0, K 9
Ziehl, Schlesinger and Walters kept Harvard off the board in relief
BATTING
Rosario and Romero had the 2 BRI's with Max knocking in the game winner...

We had 1 error...but it didn't cost us...

It's been a lousy 21 hours or so with baseball losing to Harvard 11-6 in Game 1 last night at The Light and men's hoops following up earlier today by blowing an 8-pt lead ay home vs VaTech with 2 minutes to go and lose 71-70.
Maybe we can rebound tonight and get a W.
