We took a 1-0 lead...they tied it up 1-1...then took a 3-1 lead on a monster mash 2-run home...but we came back with 3 in the 6th, 1 in the 7th, and 1 in the 8th to win. 6-3 behind a pair of HRs by Anthony Vilar and Adrian Del Castillo.

True FR Victor Mederos started the game on the mound and he kept us within striking distance. He pitched 5.2 innings, SO 7, no walks, gave up only 4 hits but 2 were HRs (3 ERs) that gave Wake a 3-1 lead when he left the game for reliever Arguelles.
Miami wins the weekend series and its 5th game in a row to improve to 8-4, 5-3 ACC while Wake falls to 3-6 overall and 1-4 ACC
Game 3 has been canceled because Wakew cannot field a team, mainly pitchers, due to COVID protocols so we get the 2-0 sweep.
