Call me a silly, blindly optimistic fan but i think the Canes are due (long overdue) for a good football season. The football gods have been ruthless to the Canes over the last decade--partly because when we dominated we were the greatest gift a sportsfan could have 
The Canes didn't just beat people, they beat on people Anyhow, this year's team has plenty of question marks and holes even but what I also hope they have is heart and grit. i don't expect them to beat the florida State's just yet but please kick Duke and North Carolina's asses. I also think the football gods are going to look down a little more favorably on our Canes this year...at least that's the perspective of this silly, blind fan.
