I and many fans TOTALLY get where he is coming from
I couldn’t even watch the game this weekend because of conflicting emotions.
i 100% disagree with Gary that firing Manny now does nothing. I think it will allow fans like @shmira55 , myself and others to possibly enjoy games to the point where we can just cheer for the kids and not be absolutely terrified that Blake and the board will misconstrue this support and fan cheer for reasons to keep Manny. I remember kids playing inspired and looking good under Larry Scott when he was named interim.
yes the young talent is playing well but when have we not seen Freshmen look GREAT only to become jags and there have been many defensive players that have gone that route under Manny.
we should not have to hope Pittsburgh ends our misery but here we are. Gary can say all he wants “well they are doing things behind the scenes and things are happening” but ALSO we have seen where Gary said one thing and then something totally different happens then it’s “ well things changed”. We don’t need “ things changed”. We need “a change”
