Gary's War Room is starting to read like Finebaum's Show on the SEC Network. Just without the twang! The level of delusion is almost just as high and we're months from the start of the 2015 football season.
Same guys from "the noise" writing the same things over and over and over and over again. There are some creative attempts but the message is always the same. Those guys from "the noise" actually think they've somehow made an impact. But Al is here, with his guys and still captain of the boat. I do believe the "the noise" has indeed helped create an air of negativity around the program and I do believe we have lost a recruit or two so I congratulate "the noise" for your efforts. Steering players away from the program - so proud.
As I've written, I fell off the AG bandwagon after the 4 losses to close the season. But I've closed the book on last year before the 6-7 season ate a hole in my gut. No, I haven't forgotten it but at some point you have to move forward and look to the future. The springtime has a way of doing that. It's an optimistic time of the year. Maybe Golden gets the team and program moving forward and saves his job. And if he doesn't, he'll likely be gone. His future is in his hands. Not yours, mine or ours. His!
I'm trying to move forward. Trying not to dwell on the negativity - both real and imagined. Not burying my head in the sand where the failures are concerned. But focusing on the future right now. We really won't know until next season rolls around, now will we?
