The #15 Defensive stat is so misleading...... and I dislike Golden even more for clinging to it like a security blanket.
That #15 is being used like style points. Style points don't count..... points on the board for and against are the only points that count.
Average points scored by NCAA teams is 28. Miami is right in the middle at 28 pts per game.
Average points allowed by Miami is 26. Again deep in the average column.
6-7 or 7-6..... does it matter??? Lost to half of the teams. Won half.
