that's what Tucker Carlson's defense was. He literally defended himself by saying no one should think what he says is facts, but unfortunately, folks where don't respect what journalism means and confuse journalists that they don't like with opinionists they due like, as if the canons of journalism don't exist, but I digress.
Her argument is that her information is so outrageous no one should believe it on its face, but she wasn't knowingly lying, she herself actually believed it, baseless as it may be, to be true, and that she just needed more investigation to prove it was true.
The fact that some heard her and believed her isn't her fault, according to her, as there was no real factual reason to believe her.
Its pretty damning but everyone who had a legal hat from Lindsey Graham to Chris Christie told you that she was bad as it was happening.
The Big Lie has been exposed but the damage is done. Russia couldn't have done more damage to confidence in the election process than 45's ego did.
