The real problem is we can’t keep the players we bring in and develop the one season that stay.
Canesport did articles last year or maybe the Spring highlighting how many recruits never made it into school, were kicked off or plain transferred out.
Recruiting is an issue.....sure, but those kids that should be used three years down the road. Our PROBLEM is development.
The Donors and the media should have been lighting up James and the program the moment, we didn’t take significant numbers at DT, LB and OL. When you have a recruiting cycle where you only bring in one DT or OL, it should be grounds for termination.
Everyone was pussyfooting around with Golden & CMR after those signing days and the University is going to pay the price.
James didn’t do his job when his coaches didn’t do theirs. Plain and simple. We live in a pussified worry about your feelings society, where it’s okay as long as you tried your best. Well Miami’s best is 17-12.
