I understand an honest mistake but this is an example of what is systemic. This is what is wrong with America. People in America don't believe a problem exist. Until they see this problem, nothing is getting done.

Now if you would of told me he refused to show his ID I would have said okay. I can understand the skepticism. I think the thing to do as soon as he provides you his ID is to call a bank manager. NOT THE DAMN POLICE!

What bank robber do you know shows you his ID?

Ya know the bank teller who reacted in such a bizarre way was a Black woman right?

It's odd to me. You said you'll back America regardless when talking foreign policy but her you're describing America as a morally depraved country. Which is it? How can domestic policy be so morally bankrupt but foreign policy be unimpeachable?

Or perhaps a female Bank teller just reacted in a crazy way to an odd though understandable request? Could that be it? Or it is morally depraved at home and righteous abroad?

Of course I know what color the bank teller is. That doesn't have a damn thing to do with what I said here in this thread though. This problem is systemic. This is an issues that has nothing to do with her color. It has to do with protocol.

This is what I am talking about. You have a great example right here. You don't even see where there is a problem here. There is a power structure here at work. Hell, you had police from other ethnicities watching police brutality too. That doesn't make it okay now does it.? It's still wrong morally right? People are so quick to just look at color only but it is far beyond that. It is the mentality we have in the country by everyone. This causes the people with the most power to be negligent....and creates a problem.

It wasn't an unusual request. He was withdrawing his own money from a bank and wanted discretion. HE didn't want to explain it beyond that to the teller. The simple solution is to get a manager or a banker. Not the police. There was no crime. Bank robbers don't give you account numbers and show you id. You don't realize how stupid this is?

Dude...you simply don't understand the topic. Instead of asking questions you get defensive and use phrases like word salad and put things in caps because you insist on ignorance. Again I know the tellers color and never called her or any person racist. This clearly should never happen....and if think that asking for your own money and showing ID should result in your arrest then you are the problem.

So you started this stupid moronic post by mentioning some dude and how that random dude has to live in 2022. What it’s like to live in 2022 Some dude named Ryan . So how does his existence differ from mine ? So rename your post “ how some random white or black or Asian dude has to live in America in 2022 .

I think living in the USA in 2022 is just Jim Dandy , even with Black bank tellers who may make a mistake or be over zealous
So what’s your point ?
That all the BOA employees need further training before they alert the Authorities?
Sure training is good
But no
You post by naming some random Black dude as the victim implies the typical liberal racist bull crap . That this dude was treated differently
I understand exactly what you said and what you meant .
You were not commenting on the employee practices of BOA . The black teller, likely a wonderful person , may have made a mistake . Is so , we all do
Now you are trying to wiggle off the hook as you usually do
The clear implication is that this random black dude ( what’s his claim to fame by the way) was treated differently than someone of a different color .
If you want to called out on your racist threads , I have a suggestion. Don’t start them
I really don’t want to debate this any further
You started a racist thread , got called out as the perpetrator of this alleged racist action was a nice hard working African American. And then tried to worm your way out of it .

Yes, I started a thread about Ryan Cooglar. He isn't "some dude". Do you have any idea of who he is? Perhaps you should google him. If you did you will find out that he isn't "Some Dude". He is one of the greatest movie directors i n Hollywood today. You are "some dude" and I am "some dude" so that's the first thing.

Secondly you obviously do not understand. This long response tells me you don't. He was treated differently? Ummmm, he was treated unfairly and this should never happen. You are hyper defensive and this is why we have this problem. Anytime attention is brought to what is going on. People like yourself go on defense. There no need to go on defense. I didn't call the teller racist. In your mind that's what you interpreted. I never said that. It was your own implication. So, no matter how many times I tell you I know what color she is, you insist on coming to the conclusion I think she is racist.

Lastly, living in American as an African American means dealing with this ignorance. It's something that is a fact. You don't have to like it for it not to be a fact. It doesn't matter how much success you have for the people that feed us all this bullshit about just working hard and you are no different than everyone else. You are different if you are African American. Your reality is different on many levels. You could have millions of dollars in the bank and be the very best in your industry. It doesn't matter. Protocols are in place to fear black people.

Those protocols cause mistakes like this. The bank teller just did what she thought was the right thing to do because she is a product of this system. As soon as she got suspicious she should have got a bank manager. Not called the police. That's all I was saying but you are so defensive you immediately assume that I am here to call people racist. Which I did NOT. Don't assume and don't be defensive. Read what is said. Listen to what is said and respond to what is actually said...and if you have questions you just ask me and I will tell you.
