hmmmmmm the bill in this article, it doesn't say they were just going to give medals to valiant officers, it says they will be immortalized (even in the Smithsonian) for defending the capital in an Insurrection, something that's being disproven day by day. If this was done FOR the officers there shouldn't be politics linked to it, and by doing this it clearly creates an advantage to the Democrat Party. This Bill is the same as giving China the Nobel Pace Prize for handing out Ventilators during the Covid Pandemic ( and yes the vent's were mostly defective to boot). There should be no rush to this, and being right/Truthful is paramount, as it IS a stain on our history, and not just a political victory. Maybe taking off the political gas mask then reading it

Why should they be awarded medals?? They were doing their jobs , which they get paid to do..........I have served over 40 deployments of service to help maintain the democracy , free speech, and countless other privelages you and the rest of the country enjoy on a daily basis. Not once, have I even entertained the thought of having a medal given to me for doing my job ( in fact , I have rejected medals offered to me). This was my job, which I was compensated for , and that is the end of story. I bet you are a huge supporter for participation trophies as well. You are using your own agenda to promote political divisivness, thus, you are the real problem that this country faces. You are a sad person that perpetuates bullshit on a 24/7 basis.
