When was the last time you watched us
play a game and you said to yourself
"Damn, we look like we are a few steps
ahead of the other team, on either
side of the ball". When was the last
time we looked like we were in the
offensive huddle when we were playing
defense, or how about the last time
you said to yourself, "Coley is calling
run when the defense is thinking pass,
or calling pass when the defense is
line up to stop the run"
Why are we never a few steps ahead
of the other team. Why did it take
a SUPERHERO effort from Duke J
last year to score, or a circus catch
from Stacey Coley to take the lead
I'm the game last week, with the
defender all over him? Why don't we
ever have guys running wide open
like Cook was last week on that
little pass he caught last week that
went for the score. Or the one he
dropped when he was wide open?
This staff has had ample time to
make a difference here. The fact
that the competition is watered
down shouldn't keep them around.
