One group came to Miami and cut a deal with Golden and he accepted it and thought he was going to be Penn State Coach
That meeting was Saturday. The group flew back to State College and Golden and his wife made plans to travel there the next day from Naples.
Sunday AM comes. The flight plan is in place for the jet to leave State College airport. Golden had a reservation at a resort up there where he was going to stay Sunday night.
And he wakes up and sees on the ticker on SportsCenter that Penn State was setting up interviews LOL.
He fires off an email and gives Penn State a 4 pm deadline to settle the mess.
The deadline came and went and Golden never heard from them again I dont believe.
