that seems to be the flavor of the month. We will never draw 50,000 to a Spring game if that's what folks expect but on the flip side the weekend pasttime when it's not football season isn't watching corn grow either. Look it's never been great here but when we were winning we were drawing 55,000+ average per game, during the season, IN MIAMI. Which means a few 60+ and a few 40+ ... I think the program can live and flourish with that.
Issue is like I said, we are the flavor of the month. People love to hate on Miami...jelousy I guess. Hell and that's in all Miami sports not just a the U. But what really pisses me off is when the media and fans of other teams constantly trash us...the city, the school... hey I know they got their reasons... but sxit we were 6-7 for goodness sakes!!! Sure if I was in Columbus, or AnnArbor, or Tuscaloosa sure I'd rather show up at the games even at 6-7. It's either that or watch the cow milking contest. But not in MIami.
