WIth Yearby's status iffy we really need these two to contribute. In Barry Jackson.s column he quotes Kaaya as saying Gray has made a big improvement and is going to surprise people this year. He gave props to Walton for his lateral cutting ability and the fact he already knows the blocking assignments.
Gray came in late and was a deer in the headlights last year but he has apparently been putting in the effort to prepare himself mentally and physically particularly if Gus goes down. Gray IMO has better cutting ability than Gus IMO and has more upside.
So it seems that we may have better depth at RB than we have had in a while.
