I gotta say this. I think he looks like a fool doing this so late. It is definitely a get votes grab. He should have done this in the last 24 months. Not 43 days from election. I think this looks bad for him.

That’s precisely right. He’s attempting to butter up the displaced Puerto Ricans currently residing (and voting) in FL.
Like Hillary saying she carries Hot Sauce in her purse to Black voters. This is brilliant move especially the idea of boosting their economy with pharmaceutical companies coming back. The one Biden Obama chased off by nixing the tax incentives that were in place. Plus totally rebuilding their electric grid and infrastructure. Genius.

Just need to be convinced that if Trump wins they won’t be left on the out side looking in like with the left. They all fled and live in Orlando FL area, Lots of Puerto Ricans are in Orlando and they do not like Trump i can tell you that.
Trump had his chance with Puerto Ricans during the hurricane and blew it. A cynical last gasp Hail Mary to buy their votes back weeks before the general election won’t change the minds of people who are still pissed about his hurricane response and the idea that he tried to sell the island in exchange for Greenland.
He did aid before. Don't you remember his fight with the Mayor lady of San Juan? Do you recall the millions of dollars of product we found rotting away in a warehouse over there that he supplied but Puerto Rican politicians didn't distribute?
Yes and No. They don't pay federal tax unless they are federal government employees. They do pay payroll and social security tax, as well as others (business tax, estate tax etc).
I was there years ago (2003) & the corruption was unreal. Bad cops, lots of them!

You are probably right. I think Trump will do better in S FL than any Republican ever has. Only reason is he really isnt a Republican by old standards.
I live in Orlando and can tell you PRs like jobs like everyone else. The guys I know want to make $ and do not need or want handouts. Trump will get plenty.
