When did Obama clear Flynn of anything? He fired Flynn, remember? You are conflating two points. The first is the security clearance Flynn had which all ex military of his level have. It was renewed last year. The other point is the normal vetting that should occur when a person is being hired in such a position. A security clearance does not supersede the vetting process. Trump owned the task of vetting Flynn not Obama. It's like saying since Jeff Session as a former Senator had some level of security clearance and because of that didn't require vetting. Total nonsense!!

My point about Trump pardoning Flynn was a reference to what Gerald Ford did for Nixon. Ford did not want the country to suffer through legal action against Nixon. He instead pardoned him. Trump could do the same for Flynn but for different reasons.

Your lack of knowledge is apparent in many areas. But please don't challenge me on the Nixon years.
