Got it. Work in IT engineering for a police authority. Fell in that section of public safety. Day 2 after the second shot was a bit sketchy but that’s about it. Never had COVID as far as I know and I’m pretty active in the gym and what not.
Got the Pfizer first shot a couple of weeks ago. The usual tired, lethargic reaction throughout the day the shot was administered. Felt fine the next day and beyond. Looking forward to shot two next week.
I don’t want any “pole”. Sounds potentially very painful.
Now as to a Vaccine, I got my second Moderna jab 3 weeks ago. Feeling slightly liberated.
When my dad was in his 30’s he had an ulcer. The scientifically accepted procedure at the time was to cut out the diseased portion of the stomach and essentially perform a gastric bypass. It caused him of a lifetime of horrible side effects. Of course, they no longer perform such a barbaric procedure.
My mother in law had an operation on her bladder using a scientifically approved mesh. The mesh was later determined to be a huge problem and was the subject of large lawsuits.
Science told women it was safe to receive silicone based breast implants. This was later determined to potentially cause numerous serious health issues. Again, huge lawsuits.
My mom was prescribed a pain killer for arthritis. The drug was later taken off the market for causing serious health issues.
I could go on and on with examples. It’s good that you don’t trust politicians. Blindly trusting doctors and especially new medical science is not a great idea either.

Got my second Moderna on Sunday, flu like symptoms yesterday but fine today. Time to travel.......FREEDOM,!!!!!!

You took what I said out of context completely. I never said I do not trust politicians. That's pure conjecture you concluded on your own. There are many politicians I trust.
You are making more of what I said than there is. I said I trust science. More than politicians. I didn't say I trust doctors or scientist. I said SCIENCE! SCIENCE! I TRUST SCIENCE MORE THAN I TRUST POLITICIANS.

Although I have decided to take the vaccine, I’m hoping there won’t be numerous future Morgan and Morgan commercials starting with: “Did you or a loved one have a serious side effect from taking the COVID vaccine...”
Yea, I got the Moderna as well and have had a SIGNIFICANT SIDE EFFECT.....................................after having it I have this unrelenting desire to travel, attend a sporting event, sit in a bar, and hug and kiss strangers
I’ve heard the same thing. I got Pfizer. Those here at Chickasaw that got Pfizer had few side effects. Those that got Moderna had many symptoms for a day or two.
Note: I’m not saying which is better, just sharing some info.

I had lunch at a restaurant’s indoor bar yesterday for the first time in a year. Well spaced from the other patrons. So fun.
Also just booked my first flight since January 2020. Coming to Miami in November for a friend’s wedding. Sadly, the wedding the same day as our FSU game. Oh well. I’m staying for 6 days to revisit favorite spots. Recent discussions of The Big Cheese made me nostalgic.

The curing agent is called Chloroquine. The drug that the government banned because it was cheap and over the counter. Instead allowed people to die so they could make money off this vaccine. No way I take it.

Well, I trust SCIENCE more than politicians. I think people are stupid to trust politicians with medical decisions ....I don't know anything about curing agents or Chloroquine or drugs. If it is working for people they must have the solution. The numbers reflect this.
there is no Chloroquine in the ingredients of the Moderna vaccine. All ingredients are listed. It’s not there. There is phosocholine but that’s a protein
I did not respond yes or no. Here's why.
First off. I believe in vaccines in general. That's how we rid the world of so many diseases forever. Vaccines work! And I also strongly believe in the Covid19 vaccine. The reason why I'm not going to get it at this point is because I want to live my life consistently. I have never received a flu vaccine and I have never contracted the flu. I have always had a high resistance since I was a kid. So as of now, I do not plan on getting it because that has always been my pattern and I don't think Covid19 is anything more but a flu. But just much more contagious.
NOW.... If there is a trend where maybe they demand proof of a vaccine in order to NOT have to wear the dumb mask (that is absolutely useless but makes ppl feel better) in order to get into football games...then I will get the vaccine. Because at that point, it's all about placating the imbeciles and all about convenience. And if I have to take the vaccine in order to tailgate and not have to 6 foot space, I will do it.
We are human beings. We DO NOT BELONG WEARING MASKS. WE NEED TO SOCIALIZE. This bullshit is going to end. One way or the other. This is not right. It is not normal.
