Defense?
Did a relatively good job besides some missed tackles that need to be cleaned up and getting beat on the big pass play. They kept us in the game and gave us a fighting chance.
Special Teams?
Same shit, different pair of underwear. Missed chip shots. Easy Muffed punts (Probably cost us the game). Not prepared for fakes. I just didn't think Diaz had much confidence in our kicker. Gesh….still can't understand how Berrios used to get killed here for his punt returns.
Offense?
It is improved. It will improve as the season goes on. The line will be okay. Stick with the ones you have and coach them up. We should probably get them a little more help on the edges though.
One thing I also noticed is Williams needs to do better with the snap count. He needs to change it up sometimes and he needs to do better consistently running plays and getting people where they should be. Other than that there isn't any question this kid is a better passer than Perry. So, Perry fans can miss me with that. I also need him to protect the football better. Seemed to abandon his training some. Do a better job of getting rid of the ball...but I will take his faults with his passing ability. He doesn't throw it up for grabs at least.
Coaching? Diaz did pretty well. I am not much of a second guesser for after the fact. I thought he managed this game reasonably well.
