We should enjoy the rest of the year......especially to see if TvD can keep it up

The last time we had something like this happen was the 1999 season when Dorsey looked like dear in headlights at VT, but then came on strong the last 4 games (including bowl game) to position himself as the guy for a great 3 year run. Not suggesting a similar run from a total team perspective, but TvD has a chance for a great career here, and is the best pro QB prospect since probably Testaverde, given size, arm strength, ability to work through progressions at an early age, poise, decent mobility, etc. Does not guarantee success but the rest of the other Cane QB's had some flaw that did not make them big NFL prospects. And it's not like he was an unheralded recruit, the guy was the #3 QB on the ESPN top 300, #84 overall. Pitt was a huge test for TvD, and made me a true believer. Excited to watch him the next 5 games.
